This section features a collection of portraits of inspiring individuals I’ve had the chance to meet and photograph during my career. Most are well-known figures or professionals from various fields, including entertainment, politics, and business. Over time, this collection of portraits grew into a project called “People I know”.

Over the years, free of any plans or briefs, I have occasionally invited people into my studio — people I felt had something to say in a portrait. In time, I realized that this may be my oldest ongoing project (perhaps since 1992) and, more importantly, my most genuine way of truly knowing others: by observing them through the photographic lens.
